Primary school and $100 to $150

Throughout the year though I tend to buy more white socks as she wears through them and they get dirty and whatnot. Or top up on new polo shirts or pants or whatever.

I would estimate that I spent about $300 last year.

    my daughter has:

    2 x school dresses
    2 x school skort
2 x short sleeve school shirt with logo
1 x long sleeve shirt with logo
    2 x long school pants
    1 x school sports shorts
2 x school jacket with logo
2 x school hats with logo
2 x home reading bags with logo

I didn't pay for her shoes. They are good quality Blundstone leather shoes that were donated to the school I work at by charity and there are still loads and loads of boxes with these shoes.

I haven't and probably won't spend any money on uniforms this year, but I did spend $20 the other day on hair bands and clips for school.

Overall, I think that is a pretty reasonable price considering they will last this year and then some of those will be passed down to my son who starts school next year.

    primary school

    2 summer dresses - $60 each
    2 sports tops - $25 each
2 sports sorts - $30 each (though these are royal blue and no logo so could buy generic)
2 winter dresses (pinafore style) - $65 each
2 shirts for under pinafore - $25 each
    1 sports jumper - $60
    1 wool jumper - $80
    shoes - $100
sandshoes (must be white) - $60
    school backpack - $40
    Hat (2) - $12 each

there is a second hand shop - so especially the jumpers and dresses can often be bought from there ($10 per item) which is super handy.

I have usually either passed the uniforms on to other friends or given to the uniform shop for second hand after DD has finished with them as they are very good quality and usually in good shape (she isnt very hard on clothes).

Luckily for me she is just starting grade 4 and has only just gone up a size in uniforms now - so we have had a good few years out of 1 set

I just spent $240 on uniform for my son, absolutely everything needed to be replaced as he is starting at a new school and going from navy pants/jumpers to bottle green.

For $240 I got: 1 logo polo shirt (still need to buy one or two more at $30 each), 2 plain polo shirts, two pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of track pants and 1 pair of plain pants, 1 zip up jacket and one jumper (both without logos), 6 pairs of socks, a hat and new shoes.
