    Default Chemical Pregnancy BFPs

    Hi everyone,

Back in October we had a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage at 6 weeks. My BFP (at about 5 weeks) was fairly faint, though it appeared quite quickly.

This morning I've had another BFP, this time only at 4 weeks, and it was quite dark. After our experience last year though I'm obviously very nervous.

I know these things are impossible to predict but... that won't stop me trying! :-/ so my question is, to those who have had chemical pregnancies, were your BFPs generally quite faint? Did anyone have dark BFPs followed by chemical pregnancies?

    Thank you xx

I had a chem/early preg in 2011. My test was faint but noticeable, but it didn't get darker, it stayed the same. Had a blood test and came back positive but very low (10), dr said could be just too early but most likely not a viable pregnancy. Test didn't get darker over next few days. Another blood test 48 hrs after the first my levels hd only risen to 12. I miscarried the next day and blood test at hospital came back almost 0.

3 weeks later got another faint positive (i was about 7dpo, 2 days later the test line was darker than the control!! That pregnancy resulted in my now 2.5 year old dd3

Had another chem a few months ago, same deal. Only very faint positive, didn't get any darker, af came 2 weeks later and test was negative completely.

My last one got to about 40 or 50 for HcG and I did get a decent line but it never got darker than the control. Then when I started to m/c the levels and the darkness of the test backed off very quickly.

This was from that pg. After the bottom one they got lighter.

This test was from this belly bean. The bottom test in the other pic was 13-14DPO from memory. This pic was 13DPO as well, what a difference
