    I work in the industry and there is no way I'd take 2 yr olds to the park or on any excursion for that matter. The ratio should drop if leaving the premises. The idea gives me heart palpitations!

    I have taken 5 and overs on excursions before ( vacation care ) and that was stressful enough!

    Nope. Not on your life. I was doing some child caring for a young parents group and the had 2 of us take the kids (about 8 of the, all under school age) to a playground away from the mums who were in a different area of southbank in brisbane. While I picked one kid up off the ground an under 2 slipped away and was found in the arms of a citycat (ferry, as in on the river) operator. It makes me sick to think of what might have happened because of taking little children into an open area. Just no. no, no, no, no, no.
