I try to have at 2 days a week that I literally don't spend a cent. I call them zero dollar days. If I run out of something, too bad, I make do til later. It saves me a bit. I could do 3 or maybe even 4 days if I really tried..

The things that help us save money is... Menu planning and shopping weekly for everything.
Buying non perishable goods in bulk when on special.
Using whats left in the cuboards/fridge to create meals and snacks so we arent throwing food away.
Use cash at the shops instead of cards, i find i spend less when using cash.
    Shop at opshops.
Being content with what we have and saving for special things we want.
Shop for xmas throughout the year or make or bake homemade gifts too.
We make birthday cards for people and save wrapping paper and giftbags to re use if we get gifts.
Sell stuff on facebook or gumtree also look for freebies on gumtree.
I get by bread for $1a loaf from a local bakery, its day old bread but its fine to eat.

Yeah I currently have a heap of really good quality baby stuff on BSS- stuff we either didn't use at all or only once or twice and can't shift it. And the one thing I did laugh at when uploading because I thought no one would buy it has been the only thing to sell! That extra $8 won't stretch far!

I'm definitely in! It's my overall goal this year to minimise the crap in our lives so I definitely don't want to be bringing anything unnecessary into the house.
I've managed to sell a few bits and pieces of late which has brought some $ in and cleared some space.

I started being frugal last week.
We are moving so a ute full of junk went to the tip, I sold a heap of stuff and half a vans worth of stuff went to the salvos.
I saved $1400 by not doing a thing but packing and selling a few things!
