Spent $11 yesterday on spinach, corn, bananas and bread, resisted my urge to buy chocolate :P and I didn't buy a take away coffee this morning woo!

Our rego is due first week of March too HarvestMoon. Ours has gone up a lot (VIC) has yours?

I'm not sure tbh as I have no idea what I paid last year. It wouldn't surprise me though, such things seem to go up in cost every year.

Yesterday wasn't too bad here...though I did cave and buy a $1 chocolate. I also spent $50 at the supermarket, but it was all things we needed. Very annoying to shell out $8 for parking, but couldn't really be avoided.

Today I haven't spent anything yet - though I am desperate for some sugar and/or caffeine!

I have just totalled my outgoings for this month. near $2000. I will be putting the locks on my money until the end of feb. starting with no spending on the grandkids, that is my biggest weakness. my gym membership has come out already, so that can be crossed off the list. good luck everyone. marie.

I need to do more than bring my lunch everyday. The builder just hit with $6,000 worth of variations due next week that I hadn't budgeted on. I think he might be getting a payment plan.

We don't have a choice of provider or tariffs where we are. Tarriff 11 is the everyday stuff and Tarriff 33 is usually off peak hot water.

We're on flat Tarriff 11 as we've got solar hot water.

Today was awesome! Spent $115 doing the grocery shopping online which will last us a week. Totally awesome compared to the $170 we spent last week and the $150 we spent before that!
Instead of walking around just buying crap that I want to eat as snacks I was able to sit down and plan out meals for the week and they're all healthy and lean! Plus we got free delivery. Feeling totally positive about getting my spending under wraps to save as much money as possible!

Had a good day today. Found out I am entitled to rebate that I didn't know about. Now to just apply for it. I also applied for a discount on the kids school fees.

Also got a great bargain. 2 pkts of 24 snags for $3.00 each so that's 1.50 meal. Very happy with that.

Normally I would buy a 2L juice and the kids would drink it on the way home. Today we didn't buy that. I know it only 2 bucks for the juice a day and a pkt of $3 throw away cups a week. But it all adds up. That's 13 bucks a week or $520 over the school year.
