    Default Dyson DC35 stick vacuum

    Anyone got one?
They are on special at the moment and with all my gift vouchers I can get one for $9 out of pocket.
I have a functional vacuum but thought the stick would be very convenient for up two flights of stairs and I vacuum everyday on the ground floor (shiny white tiles, two cats and a toddler).
Just wondering if they are as good as the hype.
I've wanted one for a while but wouldn't pay the $469 for it... $9 on the other hand....

    Or the DC45?
    They are both on sale

I've got one and not long ago I posted on a thread about how it is my favourite appliance.

SpecialK, get one, seriously, you won't regret it! I have a normal Dyson barrel vacuum and also the stick one and it has been an absolute cleaning saviour. It never loses charge as I keep it hung up on the wall in it's little charger cradle, is super effective (as all Dysons are) so picks up a variety of things with ease. I bring it out all day, and do touch ups on the carpet where the kids have been.

Another bonus is the attachments which make it a dream to vacuum out your car as well, no more lugging the big vacuum outside with long extension cords, I just use the stick vacuum now. I can't recommend it highly enough, it is amazing and well worth the money imo.

    @Uniquey
Have you the 35 or 45?
I can't really see much difference with them online.

    I have the DC 35 Animal @SpecialK.

The lastest one has an improved motor, improved battery life and improved suction head.

I have the DC44 and it is the absolute bomb!

If it's not too much more, maybe go for the DC45 just because it'll be slightly better.

They are worthy of the hype in my opinion!

    How's it better @Degrassi?
I couldn't really see online the difference.
They are both $299 at the moment.

    Here's some information:

    http://www.infobarrel.com/DC35_Vs_DC44

In short, the DC 44/45 is slightly better in a few areas. Go the DC45 if they're the same price!
