@Tanej78: welcome. I think minib and gelati are both having the FET baby. My FET cycle didn't work out but that's for a different reason. Mine is a fresh cycle baby. If the embie survives the thaw and is blast, there is a very good chance that it will stick.

@Tanej78 best of luck this cycle hun! You have a great number of blasts so it sounds like you have good quality eggs I coildnt see from you signature but have you specialists tested you for immune issues or progesterone issues to see if there are any answers to your previous miscarriages?

@Tanej78: yes, i was about to say the same thing as Gelati. Looking at your signature, you have numerous miscarriages and BFN. First, do you know the quality of those blast? If they are all grade A, it should work but there is also no way they can tell from the look of it if there is any chromosome problem. I would try to get at least some basic immune stuff tested. Have you and DH tested any chromosome issue as well (such as CF, karotyping)?

I've been tested to the moon and back so frustrating!
Had biopsy and bloods this year for NKC and was negative.

Most recently though I was tested for MTHFR mutation, and came back positive, which may give us some answer, it is linked to multiple mc, blood clots, anxiety etc all the boxes ticked for me. Crazy to think that something as simple as a vitamin which is not absorbed properly could be part reason for all this! But better to have some kinda of reason to work with, we've had nothing else til now.

I've been on progesterone with all my last 4 FET, they were all HRT but this time we've done a stim cycle, so I've had my trigger, start progesterone on tomorrow and transfer Wednesday. Mine are 6 day blasts.

I've never been on as many supplements & meds until now, heres hoping the mega combo of everything works...

we've had husband fragmented and chromosone tested... all fine....
To be honest I can't remember the blast gradings, its hard since i've only had 1 blast stick out of the 5 transferred so far. We had last year off from doing IVF and were trying homeopathic treatment, which is a whole other drama.

But now we've transferred to Monash for the this FET, so looking forward and trying to stay positive... I like that we're not doing HRT this cycle, feels better.. and then extra new protocols, im on aspirin, clexane, predisolone, vit E, D, CQ10, a proper folate suppliment and a prenatal that has activated B vitamins not folic acid (because of the MTHFR mutation) ... Also on metformin 3x a day because of my PCOS...

We've decided to transfer our 2 remaining blasts, so if this cycle doesn't work we're ready to do a fresh cycle and start doing some genetic testing. BUT thats not going to be necessary because Olaf & Sven are totally going to be our home run right ?

@Tanej78 sounds like you've had all the right tests. Like you said the only other thing could be PGD testing but the other ladies may know of other important tests. But with such awesome frosty names as Olaf and Sven I don't think you'll need it! So cute! The FET I have on board is a 6 day blast My 5 day blast didn't work! Sending you lots of baby dust!! Oh and welcome to the thread

I'm with monash Ivf too and I think they are brilliant! I had my prog level checked after egg transfer as well because I was a bit worried after I started bleeding early in my first cycle. They were really good to cater to whatever put my mind at ease

    Hi Ladies,

I had to take some time away from the board. Glad to hear all your pregnancies are going well.

I am doing ok, just trying to process a lot of things.

Good luck Tanej78. I hope your little viking warriors stick.

Thank you @Gelati ... hehe trying to make things a little less serious with naming them.. the anxiety gets a little bad especially because my husband works away so this helps me try and enjoy the ride as crazy as that sounds!

Thank you for making me feel welcome... Monash is my 4th clinic/specialist, and I really hope my last. So far my FS has pulled out more stops than anyone so thats a plus.
@Emerald26 thank you... and be gentle with yourself xx
