@Excited1 I'm not sure why but maybe it's different when it's stimFET. But given FS from the same clinic also do things diff I'm not surprised. they really just do their own thing! Goodluck this cycle and hope your lining grows nice and thick

hi @Emerald26. How are you? We cycled together on the oct thread. Yes that's what it says on the website so why are they do stingey?? I just don't get it. Maybe if everything went by the book for me I'd let it go but when I start spottig at 6dp5dt I Thot they'd want to investigate why? And now that I'm so late and my cycle is weird (we all know our bodies) they haven't suggested that I do an u/s or anything to investigate? It's just baffling to me they are this blasé about it all. Especially given every woman's body is different. But I will put my foot down this time. You ladies have given me the strength to do that rather than just follow them like a sheep

@Gelati I noticed you haven't posted much in the ivf Jan thread? Think you joined earlier but kinda dropped off? It does sound weird that you haven't ovulated on day 17 this cycle given it's three months after stim. But to be honest who knows right. Our bodies can be so weird. I'm also half worried about thus cycle but trying to think positive. I think you should ask for a scan. My clinic does scan even with natural FET.

@Minib - thanks for the message bt today confirmed I'll be ovulating either tmr or Sunday so transfer either thu or fri next week. Unfortunately I missed the call so I've left a message requesting a scan and bt after transfer so see what she says. I hope they are willing to do it. Otherwise I might just postpone to next month. I don't want to do more waiting but better than wasting a blasty. I've only got 2 :P

    How are you travelling hun?

Good news Gelati. Hopefully you get a scan and feel confident for a transfer next week. It seems odd that minib and you have normal luteal phases yet on a stimulated cycle you don't.

I will be doing a stim cycle next month. I couldn't do it this month as we are doing pgd testing and had to have counselling before starting the cycle.

I have normal luteal phase except on stim cycle. Always shorter. My FS was going to suggest non medicated the whole cycle but I convinced him to prescribe pessaries.
@Gelati hopefully I'm a week behind you. Scan next Thursday and I'm hoping to ovulate next weekend which means transfer the week after. I hate waiting. I'm impatient.
@Emerald26 are you saying you have to do extra counselling for pgd? I didn't know that. When do you expect to start next cycle? Early or late February?

@minib I guess they haven’t been able to give you answers as to why your luteal phase in short on stim cycles? The counselling for phd meant we had to meet with a genetics counsellor. She took us through the 2 types of testing to make sure we understood what was available. We also had to be aware that it is not 100% in that an embryo may be classed as normal but isn’t meaning it won’t implant or will vane an extra chromosome or they may conclude that an embryo is abnormal and it will be discarded but i may in fact have been normal. This is low though but we just have to be aware and also sign consent forms that we won’t sue if we are told an embryo is normal but it turns out to have an extra chromosome. We knew there are risks but had to meet with the counsellor anyway. She said that we have until day 5 after egg collection to make the decision. We had 4 transfers last year and 2 miscarriages so we are just trying to reduce the risk of going through another miscarriage. I will be starting a cycle around the second week of February. Are you with Melbourne IVF? Sounds like the may do more testing in an FET cycle.

@Minib I got confirmation today thy transfer will be on fri. Can't believe t's happening!
Its so unusual we have short LP during stim cycles. I'm hoping my natural cycle will have a normal LP. But I managed to convince them to give me a lining scan before transfer and I'm going to ask for BT after transfer too. Just to make sure. If my prog levels are normal then at least I'll know it's something else.
Hope you aren't far behind me and with the prog support this month I have my FX for you!

@Emerald26 - goodluck with PGD testing next cycle. Won't be long now! Let's hope this next cycle is a BFP for us all. It's really about time!
