@Minib I hope the scan went well today. My thyroid seems to be overactive. I was meant to have a thyroid scan today but as they inject radiation and my af hadn't turned up, I thought I better do a test just in case. To my complete shock it was positive. I never thought we would get a natural bfp.

Omg @Emerald26 I was almost in tears reading your post. That is super awesome. Are you going to have a blood test to confirm? That's just brilliant news. Congrats!

My scan went very well. It was measuring exactly 6w4d and the sonographer was very happy with everything. I started crying at the scan cos I was just so received. My OB rang me this arvo and told me all good too. Now less than tww to see my OB. Happy days so far!

Hey now everyone in this thread is pregnant yay. @Gelati you were right we all got pregnant! Let's just stay here for our dig @bbhope is here too!

Omg @Emerald26!!!! I was so excited when I read your post that I had to read it again a few times just to make sure I was reading correctly!! That's just so awesome and congratulations darling!!!! Oh I'm soo happy for us all. This is a just too perfect! Yup @Minib we were all correct. We all knew that each one of us would get pregnant! What are the next steps emerald? Ooh just so exciting!

@Minib that's wonderful news. I was thinking of you today. I'm so happy all is looking good and healthy. So is next ultrasound scan at ob's or 12 week? I def think given your past they will allow a 10 week scan. Just make them. You're the one paying for it after all. I don't think you'll have trouble convincing them.

@bbhope - my due month bud, hope ur doing well.

I'm def happy staying here as our DIG I feel like we've gone through this journey together now.

Guess what ladies, bought my first pair of maternity pants today. Hehe.

@Gelati Next scan at the obs at 8 weeks. Not sure where the 10 week scan will be at yet. I'll see how good the scan quality at the ob then decide. Spoke to ob briefly today and he's happy to work with me to reduce my stress level.

I have to be more careful with what I eat too. Had parfait and ice cream today at a really nice restaurant. Didn't realise there could be raw egg in them. Bah! I need to be stricter as I can't take the risk.

Good you gals tag me! I won't have noticed the good news from Emerald26! Congrats! Please get your thyroid level check as soon as you can. Pregnancy tends to mess it up as well and without the right level, it increases the risk of miscarriage. Are you seeing a specialist for this? As far as i know, the specialist adjust the med according to your level.

So the doppler arrived today! I just tested it and it worked! I must say that it took me a while. I didn't find it the first time because there were so many sounds. It was a bit hard to distinguish. I know baby heartbeat is a lot faster than the our own heartbeat so I was sure that the loud and clear one wasn't baby's. Then, I looked at couple youtube videos to learn the trick. I tried again and this time I found it. It was faint in the background. No surprise here as i have an anterior placenta. I could hear one sound in the front so it was easier to tell that they weren't in sync and the background one was a lot faster.

@bbhope yay the Doppler works. Must give you some comfort in between appointments? I did hear it can be a bit tricky to use

I'm really happy for all of us. I know it's a long way to go still but it's good that we are all pregnant!

@Minib: I was typing quickly earlier and didn't read that u just had your scan today. Wonderful news too!

Ya, I told myself not to panic if I didn't find it because I have an anterior placenta. I am pretty sure that OB will now do every 4w appt until 24w. So surely, I can use the Doppler if I get bored. hahah...how comes a fast beating sound so soothing?!

I am training to sleep on my side and have been difficult. I couldn't get sleep at all. So now, asking in the early DIG to see suggestions. @Gelati: are you using any pillow for it?

Oh. OB scan isn't that great but good enough for reassurance. They usually just refer us to a scan place for the 12w. I will go back to the same scan place again for 20w. First, OB appt next Friday. Can't wait.

This is a good discussion. Sleeping on the side. I struggle big time with this. I know it doesn't matter yet as I'm not even 7 weeks. But I sleep on my back and the only way I can sleep. Straight on my back. Have been trying to sleep on my left side. Will fall asleep but always roll onto my back again. Not sure what to do either. Will the pillow work?
@bbhope yeah I know the scan at the ob isn't as good but for a reassurance at 10 weeks might be ok? Then have the proper scan at 12 weeks. I know! The sound of heartbeat is the best sound in the world right now for me.

@bbhope - I normally sleep on my side so I don't have a problem with that but when I start getting bigger I'll def look into getting a pillow. I think it'll make it more comfortable and also prevent you slipping back into your back. Good to hear your having some luck with the Doppler

@Minib - I think OB scans are pretty good. They can measure size and heart rate. The proper scans can check organs and all that other detailed stuff tho. I didn't know ice cream can have raw egg! I'm not being that strict on my diet but def staying away from raw egg and raw fish.
