My FS told me to not DTD but I did it anyway. Naughty lol.

First scan on 27th April. Another tww haha. Seeing FS/OB on 6 may.

Did you ladies do verifi or harmony test? I'm thinking of doing one. Haven't done research on which one to do yet.
@bbhope @ScubaGal how are you guys going?

Doing fine here. I don't think my worry ever go away. We are onto the next milestone (20w). 12w scan went well. Adjusted risk is low for the 3 trisomy that they look at so we aren't going to do the harmony test. I personally would like to have all trisomy check out using harmony test but dh said that there is no point if we wouldnt terminate (if abnormal). I don't know why he thinks that but I don't have to worry about it for now.

@Minib - yay good to hear you are letting yourself be happy. your results have been strong so far so I'm feeling positive for you do you have another BT next week?

Im officially 13 weeks today but ultrasound says it is now 5 days ahead! Saw bub wriggling around too, it was so amazing ☺️ Downs came down low risk at 1:6000 so pretty happy about that. Tho I hear of women gettig 1:50000 or 1:100000 so I hope 1:6000 is still ok. Will see what OB says. Won't see him for another 1.5 weeks.

@Gelati: mine said 3 days behind but ON always measured on schedule. So don't know how accurate these scans are. 1:6000 is pretty low risk from my OB point of view. My adjusted risk is 1:8000 for down. With my age is 1:300+.

thanks @bbhope. I wonder what makes the difference? Maybe something in my bloods? I think my ultrasound measurement was 1.5cm so maybe that affects it? In any case if they say low risk then I'll just go with it. I'm not sure what my age odds are.

My OB measured 3 days ahead last week so I was thinking its accelerating in growth but I'm glad to hear there are variances in scans too. Worried I'm gonna have a huge baby! Lol

@Gelati: Combination of blood and the NT measurement. I don't know my NT measurement. All I heard was "beautiful NT", "excellent". Lol.

hehe, it's so reassuring to hear isn't it? So how far along are you @bbhope? Is 20 week scan coming up soon?
Btw - did they tell you te sex at your 12 week scan? Mine wouldn't tell me coz they said they were getting it wrong too often and have now stopped telling. Doh!

@bbhope wow onto the 20 week scan. Nice. It is hard not to worry that's why I can't wait for the first scan.
@Gelati congrats on 13 weeks and all good. Yay. I can't wait to reach that milestone.

So it seems that the time has dragged on. The last week has been so slow to me. This is going to kill me. TWW for my first scan. No more BT in between. I feel the same. Not as tired anymore. It's like my body has gotten used to it a bit more. I'm so impatience lol. Waiting isn't fun. Lucky my ob has the scan machine in his room so I'm hoping to get a scan every 4 weeks after week 8.

@Minib I remember that wait to the first scan....feels like forever!! I even did a POAS once to make sure lol. But my mornig sickness hit bad at week 6 so from week 6-7 I was pretty certain I was still pregnant. But I still worried. I don't think that ever stops. All I can say is that's great you're not feeling all that yet. I've really struggled the last 2 months. I think it's finally starting to die down but I'm always so worried what tmr will bring 😜

That's great you can get scans at your ob's office. My Ob has it in his office too. But they won't tell you the sex will they?

@Gelati: I think our bub will due about the same time. I'm 13w+. It still has a while to go for the 20w scan but it will be another big milestone to hit. My OB appt frequency is less now. I was really spoilt to have scan almost every week from week 6.5. I had spotting and history of chemical pregnancies. I think it will drive me insane from now on until seeing OB at 16w. In the meantime, we are still trying to figure out if we are moving to public system after 20w.

No, the sonographer couldn't tell me the sex at the 12w scan because bub wouldn't sit/lie still for a second. So.....i replayed the recording few times at home and roughly have a guess based on the "nub shot". I don't know how accurate that's. We shall see.
