Had my blood test this morning and level has gone from 51 two days ago to 157 today. I am not sure what is going on but worried it could be another blighted ovum.
@amiracle4me I cycled with you in October as well. I know at the start you were really worried and can see you are still a bit nervous. Even though you have been nervous, I hope you have been enjoying your pregnancy and are looking forward to meeting your little girl.

@Emerald26 that's great news right? That's more than doubled what makes you think its a blighted ovum? What has your specialist said?

@amiracle4me - oh how wonderful a baby girl! Im secretly hoping for a girl but obviously will be happy with either as long as it's happy and healthy! Xx

@Gelati I'm well thanks Hun! Looking very UTD now so feeling less anxious. I still won't stop worrying till she arrives though! I'm 25 weeks on Sunday. I think the Third Tri starts at 27/28?
I can honestly say the first 13 weeks were horrendous. Awful morning sickness and the only way it would go was if I ate carbs and junk food. Couldn't face a salad till about 16 weeks. So weird as I was a health nut before I got pregnant. I was also prescribed Maxalon (?) quite late which worked wonders but I wish I had known about it before.

What bits are you struggling with? Mental or physical? Mentally the anxiousness is still with me but I felt a lot better at 12 weeks after the NT Scan. I also keep replaying the Harmony results in my mind which is that I'm low risk.
Saying that, my friend lost her Bub at 10 weeks on Monday and I had a total meltdown with worry. I guess this is the oneself of motherhood!

How many weeks are you? Xx

@amiracle4me that's so true the worry never stops until the day bub is in your hands! It'll be here before you know it tho Soo glad to hear all is going well and you survived those 13 weeks! I'm only 9 weeks this Sunday so 13 weeks feels very far away. For me it's both mental and physical. Physical comes first. I haven't thrown up yet but have all day nausea feeling and the exhaustion and dizziness. I feel hungover most days. That seems to be doing my head in and I feel depressed about it all. I feel so unhealthy. And yes what's with the carbs and junk food??? I am like you, so healthy before. I can eat a salad but as long as it comes in the side of pizza or a cheeseburger! I've been eating maccas and drinking soft drink. Eeek! That with not gym / spin class or full on cardio wrk is just makin me feel unhealthy and deteriorating. But I'm glad to hear there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Your poor friend. This whole journey really sux a lot! I don't have my scan for another 3 weeks so who knows what's going on in there! just keep telling myself that what's meant to be is meant to be and nothing I can do about it. I'm so tired these days I barely have the energy to worry about it anymore tho. Silver lining of having symptoms? Lol!

@Emerald26 that's great doubling rate. Don't worry too much about the slow start as long as it keeps doubling in less than 48 hours. Have you got another BT soon?
@Gelati morning sickness is hard so just listen to your body and don't worry so much about the bad diet or lack of exercise. Only a few more weeks and hopefully your ms will ease down.

    Hello @Gelati Happy 9 weeks!

I can totally empathise with feeling unfit and a bit gross. As our little Bub was an IVF miracle ( like you ) my DH wrapped me in cotton wool for 3 months and even still now to a degree. I may relax if I have another but right now she's too important to us. For that reason I stopped all exercise for the first 12 weeks and it drove me slightly insane. I was eating heaps of crap and not burning any of it off. Even now I can say that my pregnancy craving is macca's or hot chips. It's disgusting! Haha..I was full organic vegan when TTC!

I was at the airport and was naughty and actually got a Macca's last month. I was so embarrassed being pregnant and eating that crap that I wolfed it down so fast while waiting at the gate. To me its almost as bad as smoking but the baby loves it for some reason!

I'm sure you'll be fine Hun.. When you wake up each morning say the mantra 'today is a good day as today I am still pregnant' xx

Thanks for your good thoughts @Gelati and @Minib but it wasn't to be. I had a blood test this morning and levels are dropping. I had a feeling when my level was only 51 at 16dpo that it was doomed.

The pgd results have also come back and 2 of the 4 tested have come back as normal so we will go for an FET in a few months.

Where are you up to @Minib
@Gelati I hope you aren't feeling too bad these days. Not long now till your next scan.
