    No the worrying never ends. I'm 32 and my mum still worries about me. Haha!

    Try to hold out as long as you can because once you start you can't stop and it drives you a bit mad. I went and bought 2 boxes and yep, all used up now! Like I said - gone a bit nutter!

    My prog dropped to 42 this moment. Should I be worried? It was 65 2 days ago.

    So 38 3dpo
    31 0dp5dt
    65 2dp5dt
    42 4dp5dt

    Still above 30 but it seems to dropped a lot. Nurse said nothing to worry as it fluctuates hence they don't like bt every 2 days. They didn't call fs to check. I will do that tomorrow. Feel down. Is it a sign embie didn't implant?

    Mine did that. I'm 28 weeks tomorrow. My FS told me they've done studies where they test a woman through the course of a day and progesterone goes up and down.

    It's totally normal, don't stress and at 42 you're still above average. Google progesterone chart and you'll see the average for this early on is a bit under 30.

    I had similar concerns when I was cycling. My fs was happy aslong as it was above 25 in the early days. And yes apparently it fluctuates through out the day.

    @Tinkers @ScubaGal thank you so much for replying. I am almost in tears thinking about another unsuccessful cycle. Even though I keep saying I have low expectation about this cycle, secretly I'm hopeful this is the one. Next bt Friday so hopefully stays above 30.

    No worries. Really don't let t get to you it's not even a thing. It's HCG that causes progesterone to rise later on any way, progesterone can't make a pregnancy happen. How many days post transfer are you?

    Also for comparison, my progesterone for this cycle was 25 the day before transfer, FS doubled my dose, went up to 121 when I had a positive beta at 9dp5dt, back down to 78 when I started to lower my dosage, till I stopped pessaries completely.

    My last blood test at 7w4days after no supplements for more than a week showed HCG of 121,000 and progesterone of only 47.

    So yeah, don't stress yourself thinking you need big progesterone levels

    @Minib it sounds like the fluctuation is normal. And if your nurse wasn't concerned then it should be ok. They would say something if they were concerned. Sending you hugs though cos I know how unnerving it is when levels don't turn out the way you expected them to. I'm sure it's all ok though from the sounds of the other posts. Xx

    Oh ladies I'm feeling so much better now after reading all your replies.

    @ScubaGal I'm 4dp5dt. I'm worried as I have been bleeding around 4dp5dt and 7dp2dt. Hence I requested a bt every 2 days.

    I'm still on 2 pessaries a day so let's see what the level is on Friday.
