Yeah salmon can smell quite strong. I haven't like salmon as much since I'm pregnant. In fact I couldn't eat it in first 17 weeks. Fish oil isn't as good. Need the actual fish otherwise not absorbed. That's What my ob told me. A friend also told me go be very careful about fish oil as some can have high mercury. How about sardines? That had very high omega 3. Even canned one is fine. Fresh ones can be hard to find.
My next appt is next week. 24 week appt. it will be the same check I think. Bp, baby position, heartbeat, tummy size. Not sure what else.
I take 5 vit d, elevit and caltrate everyday for supplements. I eat fish 2-3 times a week because ob said fish oil isn't going to work during pregnancy.
