Default Stretch Marks At 14 Weeks?

DF kindly pointed out to me this morning that there are tiny little red squiggly marks on my butt!

Is it normal to start getting stretch marks this early? Does this mean I'm doomed to get horrible stretch marks all over? I've only put on about 1 kilo so far..

stretch marks are genetic. BUT these stretch marks on your bum could have been there before and neither of you have noticed...

As PP mentioned, stretch marks are genetic. I didn't get any until the second trimester but I did end up with quite a few on my bum! They do fade though & by the time DD was 1 were barely noticeable .

Are you sure they are stretch marks? They sound more like broken capillaries or varicose veins.

Seems unlikely you would have stretch marks if you have only put on one kg.

I'm pretty sure, they look like the start of stretchies but it's possible they could be veins..

I don't think it's necessarily too early... Your body us changing so it's a rapid change even if you haven't put on weight.

I haven't got any from pregnancy yet...but I have them from when I was younger who are all now white... But destined to get some..... Just hoping my pre stretched skin from being fatter can just take bubba load lol

I got some late with DS and I remember being so worried sbout them. They fade so much they'd I had completely forgotten about them until some showed up last week from this pregnancy.

Try not to worry, they seriously fade so, so much over time.

They do fade a lot and aren't so bad. I made it all the way to 38 weeks with my first without 1 stretch mark and then got heaps of them. They've only gotten a little bit worse with each baby but in all honesty they don't really bother me. You can harely see them after a few months and mine go from hip to hip and as high as my belly button or just over it.
