    A pp reminded me I also prepare for conflict if that makes sense. Like if a friend or colleague has upset me I play the conversation out (usually in the shower) and then once I've had it I'm usually over it and don't need to bring it up!

    I tell myself stories (not out loud) when I'm going to bed to help me fall asleep. For example, the I've just won the lotto story.

    I rehearse my arguments and then get irrationally angry with the other person even though the argument is yet to occur.

    I sing. I'm sure our neighbour can hear but I'm actually a pretty good singer so hopefully she's not reaching for the earplugs.

    I dance. But I'm a dance teacher for a living so there's nothing weird there.
