    Yep, I pull it out and give it a good clean when I move out of a house. I don't think many others do though as I have found mail, photos and other belongings of previous tenants when I have done so.

    I do because the mice come in through the wall behind it. Warmed up mouse wee smells awful!

    Yes I do but only a few times a year. Same as the fridge, washing machine, freezer, dishwasher etc.
