Default I hate recipes that ask for...

...grated carrot! I can't stand doing it because it terrifies me! Anyone else have things that when they see them in a recipe go "awwwww, man!" (Or avoid the recipe altogether)?

Lentils, chickpeas etc. Really any sort of legume preferred by vegetarians. I'd make a terrible vego! Yuck!

Also things that I have to chop up chicken for. I hate how the chicken feels and the way it gets under my nails. SO GROSS!

Any sort of nut, especially if it needs to be processed. Developed a severe aversion to them due to morning sickness with DD 3yrs ago & still can't face them lol.

Coriander, on the other hand, I love & will put in anything by the handful!

I cheat. I have a v-slicer (like a mandolin) that has a setting to cut stuff into really small matchstick shapes. That is as close as I get because I hate grating carrot too.

I hate recipes that call for things like squash, Brussels sprouts etc. things that I know my kids just will not eat.
