When you flip up your top lip, where does the frenum attach to the gum? Is it at the top of the bottom of the gum?

The wire is the just the retainer to hold them in place now that it's done. The wire is behind the teeth, i forget thatis even there.

Both top and bottom were bad, but they couldn't put a wire on the top teeth as when I close my mouth my bottom teeth would have hit it. So I have a plastic retainer that I wear on the top one night a week just to make sure the top teeth don't move too much. But I kind of forget to ever wear it! The ortho said my teeth hadn't moved though at my last check up.

Looks great, but I actually don't mind the gap!

I used to have a gap the same, but then my gap closed at the top, but not at the bottom

My teeth were All crooked and I used to grind my teeth nightly due to it.

I finally got braces (train tracks!!) at the age of 21 (11 years ago, shhh) and I had them for 2 years. They also cost me roughly $7000 and invisaline was new so they cost a fortune at the time.

So I reckon that's a pretty good deal for them now seeing I paid the same for train tracks 11 years ago.
