    Yeah that's weird. I'd go with a simple but very firm "no I don't want you to go that" while at the same time grabbing baby back.

    Neither yours or OP's situation is okay! Boundaries people! Personal space! Bubbles of space with boundaries you keep your icky fingers out of!

    The ocd in me can't handle that. I don't like conflict but I would be almost sparta in that situation(especially op as it's repetitive - just no). How can a person think it's all good to go sticking fingers in mouths and rubbing gums?!

    Right. It appears I must grow some pineapples and be firm. I'm not sure how that will go. X may get offended - I don't like him all that much but hav to work with him and he is more 'important' than me.
