    I made cupcake lamingtons on Australia Day. They were nice, but I would much prefer proper lamingtons- there just wasn't enough icing to cake ratio.

I think I just felt a bit blown away at how different it was to my usual salon. From what I can tell though, the colour is ok. My hair is still slightly wet but looks alright. I don't think I will be cheating on my stylist again!
    Fair enough - that sounds a bit ordinary in the customer service department but I'm glad the colour looks ok.

    I'm contemplating cheating on mine, she's stopped working weekdays and now only works a Saturday and it seems wrong to do a Saturday when I have two weekdays child free when I'm not at work that I could do it and not leave DH on his own with the kids. Mine is just so reasonably priced but she did drop the ball on my hair last time which was quite disappointing.

    This is the worst. My original stylist did this, went to Saturday's only. I was working weekends at the time so that was the end of that. I was lucky though, the apprentice in the salon was actually becoming a senior and she already knew exactly how I liked to have my hair done and my hair quirks etc. I was so lucky. Nothing worse then finding somebody new that you can trust. I wish you the very best of luck in that department.

    @M'LadyEm

    Yum and I agreed with Nomsie too. If you're going to eat cake, may as well go the whole hog, so to speak

    I am sleep deprived and stressed out thanks to the stupid virus making its way through our house. Just had DS1 in hospital overnight Monday thanks to his reactive airways and now DS2 is getting sick too
