Feeling so disheartened. ..... dh doesnt want to hire me where he works as he thinks I wont like him being my boss and him telling me what to do, even though we both think I would be perfect for the role. But when he starts his own business I can apparently work there and that will be fine..... Im never going to get a job :-(
He seems to forget that Im great friends with my former boss and we could separate the two relationships

So sad. It's my own fault. Nothing good comes of a little Facebook stalking.

    Dear principal,

I am writing to ask if you would consider a class change for my daughter, x. Since beginning the school year she has been unhappy (etc) and I feel that her current class is not a good fit for her.
Previously when she was taught by mrs y her grades slipped and she struggled at school. We feel that a different teacher would be beneficial to her learning.

This sounds great, only bit I'd tweak would be saying "I am writing to request a class change for my daughter" rather than asking if they'd consider, just because it sounds firmer and like you are less likely to give in

Hoping I overheard the following quote out of context. Though I am not sure what an appropriate context would be...

"There are always going to be those sad, overweight mothers who are going nowhere..."

    Makes me sad

Totally kid free for the first time in months. Feels a bit strange... and very quiet.

Wondering if I should spend my last $10 (pay day tomorrow) on hot chips and gravy for me or buy the kids a treat for afternoon tea. Hmmm....
