I am regretting accepting all of my daughters kisses and cuddles since she came down with a cold a few days ago. Blocked nose and sore throat have started :-(

I have to give all the credit to my teen dd, I couldn't foster without her help. She's been comforting him all night while I was at work

    Oh

But if it makes you smile, I had to re-read it 3 times because I was sure it kept saying

"Sad I burnt my special treat knickers. They were just for me and dh"

.... Which would be an odd overshare

I am wondering if eating toast is going to make me sick. I haven't eaten refined carbs in a month, until yesterday when I had mcdonalds. Now I have tummy issues this morning (to say the least) and I'm starving but not sure if maybe the carbs yesterday may have set this off...

It must be very hard. I moved my family to a town 45 min away a few years ago and I felt very sad and disoriented in the beginning, even though I really wanted the change. I remember standing in the Coles in my new town and being in almost tears because I was used to my brand new Coles in my brand new shopping centre in my old town. The one in the new town was small, dingy, and had a tiny selection compared to the other. I'm sure it was probably the straw that broke the camels back, but at the time I was so overwhelmed because just *everything* was different... and the catch is, this was the town I grew up in!
