I am floating on the idea of getting a kitty... I mean we paid for extra bond for our last kitty, and we haven't had one in almost 3yrs. But I still think Ds2 isn't ready for a kitty.
Shocked. My DD fell asleep on the floor at 7pm eating an apple?!! What the . She never falls asleep before her bedtime. Every night is always a battle. When I went to move her she stunned awake and said I'm still hungry lol. She's 3.
I am on a high. I finally actually asked for help after a killer week when I was ready to throw in the towel.
My colleague from work came and picked us up this afternoon and took us to her amazing place. DS played with her grandson in her sandpit under a blue sky amidst a pocket of eucalypts. We walked along the creek, ate apples fresh from her tree, ran on the grass together, threw rocks in her pond and relaxed. DS had the best time. I feel amazing. I don't know how to thank her enough for the gift she gave me...

Annoyed by a passing comment more than I should be! My sister is having a baby girl which I am thrilled about (first granddaughter in the family). When my Mum found out she said straight away that 'boys are good but there's something special about a girl'. This comment has kept coming I to my head for the past two days 😢😡
Would it be worth telling your Mum how upset you are by her comment?
