    Default Show me your sewing!

40% off fabric at Spotlight tomorrow! I'm madly pinning all of the projects I want to make so I can go buy my fabric while it's on sale :-)

Just made this skirt for my daughter. The actual skirt was really easy but this was my first time using my very first sewing machine that I got for xmas (I've been borrowing mums up until now) and it takes a bit of getting used to! But I'm feeling much more confident with it now.

These are awesome! Do you sell them? After stalking your sewing collection, I would totally go broke at your market/etsy stall!

Lucky possum got a pair of shorts while she had a nap. I think she will wear them to her first day at her new childcare centre on Monday. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1451692807.602598.jpg

Shorts for DS1. Not quite finished but he'll help me put the waist band on tomorrow.

For something different, I sewed this cactus It was a gift for my very overworked boss, who has a bunch of dead cacti in her office - I figured she could do with one that never needs watering or looking after!

Made some little shoes for DD2. They're pretty good, she's been kicking around in them & they don't fall off!

Oh some of you ladies are amazing. I want to learn to sew. Might have to just take the plunge and get a sewing machine.
