[QUOTE=Green Cheese;8304006]I don't know whether to put this in here or the adult colouring thread but I made this pencil roll the other day. This one is a donation but I have a bigger 48 pencil one for myself too. Attachment 74134[/

This is fantastic, did you follow a pattern??

Thanks heaps, I loved it and this was my second attempt. I didn't really use a pattern but I had made a crayon roll in the past so based it a little on that. I just placed the pencils down and measured the size I needed, making the pocket a little wider than the base (ie measuring say 3cm gaps on the base and then taking 3.5cm of material for the pocket). I added the elastic so that the colour wasn't all hidden in a pocket and the flap to protect the tips of the pencils. I wanted to be able to see the colours easily and the box my Fabre Castell pencils came in had them behind each other with no easy way to see the colours.

Awesome I think I am going to give this a try as I must have the same box of pencils, it is driving me crazy not being able to see them all ha ha.
    Thanks for the tips 😀
