I think it would look great on a pair of Pom Pom shorts. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1439089408.949344.jpg

My daughter is obsessed with them!

Definitely a circle skirt with a black lace underskirt.

Don't forget belt loops for a cute belt

When I find a fabric that I just love I prefer to make a dress, because DD seems to get taller & not much wider, so she'll get a lot more wear out of it (even wear it as a top if it starts to get too short as a dress)

I had a go at making a 0000 romper for belly bub - so much more fiddly than the bigger ones I've made for DD!
I put it next to DD's one (size 1) to put in perspective how little it is!

I found the pink fabric at Textile Traders yesterday - I've been wanting it for ages but buying it online is a bit expensive, so when I saw it at less than half the price per metre than the cheapest one I've seen online I got excited and bought 3m of it haha!

This cross stitched height chart seemed like a good idea when I started it nearly a year ago. Just need the height makers and some finishing touches.

Started making a Quiet Book for Ds. I've heard they take a long time, hoping I can complete it before Ds2's arrival in a few weeks! Thought it would be great for hospital visits. Here are the first two pages, I'm using a mixture of fabric and felt. The peek a boo mitten page has an interchangeable photo pouch used from an old scrapbook sleeve. It's going to be a very time consuming project I think, but great for using up all my scrap fabric!1439698657935.jpg1439698682580.jpg

My machine is having a work out at the moment. 2 fleecy sleeping bags for ds and dd's dress for her kindergym concert.

She couldn't wait for me to do the hems before trying it on because "its so cool mummy, it has a tail at the back!"

They are so cute! Where did you find the green chevron fabric? I need to get the sewing machine out of storage to make some bassinet and cot sheets.
