Got my sewing machine out today for the first time in ages.

Made a skirt for dd 's calisthenics. It's for a witch doctor dance.

    All sparkly and bright. Gorgeous

I hope 1 day I have a girl so I can make pretty dresses and outfits like these!
I'm yet to find any boys patterns that I like. Maybe I'll try find some PJ patterns ?

Ottobre have some fantastic boys patterns in their magazines. They work out to be about $20-25 (depending on the exchange rate at the time) but they're so worth it.

I don't have a girl either and have often gotten frustrated at the lack of patterns for boys compared to girls. I took up drafting and started making a few of my own.

    This is an Ottobre pattern

This is one of my own based off something I saw for sale.

Not a great photo.. My first attempt at a bib & burp cloth. I don't think I like the chenille, might go for towelling next time. These are for a girl in my mother's group who's pregnant with #2 and moving away. She doesn't know what she's having & is a teacher so I thought apples would be appropriate!

Subbing so I can come back and post a pic. I'm half way through a double trolley cover as ds is about ready to sit up in the trolley now.

Sewing machine is getting a work out at the moment, I've just done 2 sleeping bags for ds and some trackies for dd. Next project is a new dressing gown for dd
