My mum gave me an overlocker for Christmas 2013 and it took me over 6 months to be game enough to take it out of the box. I love it now, but only done pretty much straight lines still.

I'd love to join in too! I get bouts of craftiness that comes and goes.
I've made heaps of bandana bibs for my son and some for gifts but I forgot to take photos of them! Made some other bits and pieces over the last year aswell.

Would you advise getting a few different coloured threads for an overlocker or will white suit for most things?

I mainly use white or black but if I'm doing things for sale or it's visible I change the colour to match or contrast the fabric. I just buy the big cheap reels from Spotty and Lincraft. I think they're $3 each. Works out cheaper than buying specific overlocking reels.

I saw this thread a while ago and now that I'm stuck home with a sick toddler, I figured I needed some inspiration
