Default Play centre for a birthday reviews

We are thinking of having our son's 4th birthday party at a play centre. We have never been to one and I'd love some honest opinions of which ones people think are the best for value, activities, cleanliness etc.

I did DS 4th party at a play centre , I looked at a few and liked this one the best as it was smaller, I could hire out the whole thing and bring in my own food ( most won't let you) so just start checking out all your local ones and see which one suits your needs - it was a great party as the kids just ran riot and had a blast and I didn't need to worry about cleaning up!!!

We are in the redlands. We've had a new one open up not long ago but I haven't heard the best reviews from there. I was looking into lollipops cannon hill but when I rang to enquire and said I've never been but have heard good reviews the girl said really?? laughed at me... so it has put me off a little... currently looking into we play at carindale.

I've been to lollipops at Cannon Hill and I've been to a b'day party there too. It is okay, kids had a blast, I'm not all that into play centres but this was what I would expect from one.
I thought the new one on the bay looked awesome from the TV ads, but haven't been there, also haven't been to the one at Carindale.
