    also when i see my gp, its not my usual one because i have just found out he has left. is there any suggestions on how to be polite that i dont want to just wait and see what happens.

    You could say u have been trying for a year.. Longer the better for some docs. If the new doc doesn't send u for tests just book in to another doc. Also if ur docs surgery has a website go on and look at the docs and their backgrounds in what types of medicine.. My docs websote has that and there i found he is also ( not practicing now) but was an obgyn. So I felt he knew more about what I was going through..
