    Default How much does a 4 bedroom house cost in your suburb/area?

    450-500K for 4bed 2 bath. On acreage. 35 mins from CBD.

    well over $1m here

    the problem with rising prices anywhere though, is no matter how much your property goes up in value, if you sell ... you still need to buy somewhere else that has also gone up that much so it doesnt actually help you much.

    Unless you move to a cheaper suburb/city ...

    The median house price for 4 bedrooms in my suburb is $802,000.

    $750,000 would be the average, suburbia (20kms from Darwin).

    cheapsest 4 bedder on real estate.com in my suburb is $375k and most expensive is 1.5mil.

    Average is somewhere in between there. We'd love to get a 4 bedder in our suburb but we can't afford those prices
