Default 4th year midwifery student seeking BRISBANE mums-to-be

Hi lovely ladies,
I'm a 4th year (female) nursing/midwifery student at UQ. I'm currently seeking women who would be happy to take part in a Continuity of Care experience - this basically means they will allow me to attend antenatal/postnatal appts, provide help and support throughout their pregnancy, and also attend the birth (if comfortable). It is a completely confidential experience and you can withdraw at any time.
Continuity of Care Experiences are mutually beneficial, providing you with a familiar face and extra support throughout the entirety of your pregnancy. If you are giving birth at the RBWH, Mater Mothers' or Ipswich Hospital between March 2015 and October 2015 and would be interested in participating, I would very much like to hear from you.
Thanks so much, Connor

Hi Connor, I'd also be interested in working with a student midwife. I'm currently 20 weeks, due in June 2015 and booked at Mater public. I'm actually going for my morph scan this morning, but I have already been diagnosed with GD so I'm sure I will have extra growth scans towards the end of my pregnancy. I have my first appointment with the Mater doctor on 29th Jan - the diabetes educator believes I won't be eligible for GP share care which was my first preference, which means all of my appointments from here on should be at Mater (depending on what the doctor says).
It would be lovely to have a familiar face for the length of the journey.
Also this is our first baby. 😊
Feel free to PM if you would like to chat more!
