Unhappy My thoughts with those affected by the Bushfires in the South Australia

I haven't seen a thread about this so thought I would start one. These fires are devastating and are being described as "as bad as Ash Wednesday, if not worse"

I'm hoping any BH members who live in the areas affected are safe and their losses are minimal.

I'm fortunate that I am out of the danger area & the worst we are getting is smoke. I cannot imagine what people are going through that live in these areas.

Fortunately no human lives have been lost so far and hopefully it stays that way. Unfortunately alot of pets, animals and livestock have not been so lucky.

Please keep those affected in your thoughts.

The people in SA who are or may be affected are definitely in my thoughts, I cannot imagine how scared and hopeless they must be feeling right now.

I have been so busy lately, hence my lack of posting, but I had to reply to this one to say I really hope they get this fire under control. I also hope all BH members are OK and safe.

Default My thoughts with those affected by the Bushfires in the South Australia

We're in western vic and had to evacuate on Saturday but around here it's nowhere near as bad as SA. I feel so helpless and wish I could help. Normally I would be out assessing animals but I'm still on mat leave.

Hope we get some rain soon.
