it's supposed to be the first thing you do before even getting out of bed, to give the most accurate baseline. I haven't done mine in a while, to be honest, and taking the 'not caring' approach, due to dh's orders, has just left me feeling really carefree and happy. I wonder if a similar approach would help you with your bd problems you mentioned earlier? It could be the whole clinical side of ttc that is making your dh disinterested?

He's been disinterested for a very long time. We only started TTC last month, at his insistence. There is no clinical side. He doesn't know I'm charting, and doesn't ask when is a good time to BD. We just do when we do.
I'm also not actively charting, not in a TTC way. I'm charting to figure out my cycle as it went haywire about a year ago and hasn't settled.

I guess I'll forgo the temping then, @grace.
I'm not actively charting anyway, just trying to figure out my cycle really. It used to be like clockwork, but since we stopped BDing regularly, it's like my cycle has given up, and just does what it wants to each month.

I know with my temps an hour didn't make much difference, but if I was up with DS and only had an hour or so of sleep my temps would jump drastically.

    Maybe try what @grace suggested.
This ^^ I just grab the thermometer in bed take temp record in phone then go back to sleep.

I've been charting for nearly 5 months and the only thing I have fingered out is that I usually ovulate early and have a shorter then normal LP. Other then that my cycles can be all over the place too. 22 days one month, then 35 and throw in a miscarriage and my body has a mind of its own.

Don't give up DT75- you are doing so well, especially considering the circumstances

Hi ladies, so I remembered to take my temp this morning before I got out of bed, and made note to do a comparison. I took temp again at 3.45 and it was the same (know it's improbable that this was the case for the other days though).

Here's what my chart looks like (today is the only day I did temping first thing after waking).

Your temps over the last 2 days seem to be much better. Saying that, I know that everyone is different. But mine are around the low 36s as soon as AF hits and only get up mid to high 36s after O.

Hi @McBecks, Can i please be put down for 10th testing.

This will only be our second month of properly trying. I've been on the pill for 10 years so we are just being relaxed, and partially tracking things through Fertility Friend.
No temps as yet. Maybe in a few months.. (although hopefully it wont be needed)

Hi ladies, can I join. TTC #2, 2nd month of trying. Testing day (going to try to hold out to AF due) is 14th which is DD1 birthday...hopefully a sign. Just doing IC but after a shorter cycle I think I might have to do temp charting....

Hi ladies, I'm a first time poster and very new to this. My husband and I aren't actively trying at the moment but did have unprotected sex during my fertile period. If it doesn't happen this cycle we won't start actively trying till may. I Will be testing on the 1st. Im a bit nervous to post, I joined another forum and was ignored
