@Billie2 totally understand your need..but don't lose hopes until BT! it can be too early for your body now! Good luck anyway, I'll think about you and take care during the break!

@hopefulangel1987 good luck on Friday!! let us know if IVF will be only an option of the past!

I decided to test next Tuesday, 1 day before BT. still feeling mixed emotions, hope and disbelief!
I will update you girls then as now there's nothing exciting going on!
    Take care!

Help!!! I made myself believe my blood test was due today (really its due on Monday). I couldnt help myself yesterday and took a pregnancy test, i got a faint positive and again the same thing today. Today is 14 days pass my IUI but now im worried the test picked up the OVIDREL trigger of Hcg level. This waiting game is killing me !!!!!!

Thank you all for your understanding. I had my BT moved to today and it was as expected, negative. But at least I didn't cry and am ready to move on. Ive been preg 3 times, I knew I wasn't this round.

I just wanted to share something new I learnt with Primary that short cyclers should be aware of. Medicare consider every cycle of IVF to be 31 days. So if you end & commence a new cycle within 31 days, you will be out of pocket $120 for the specialist appt. Even crinone was no match for my red witch who appeared in full force today, exactly on my due daye, 25day cycle for me. So we have the option of paying $120 & seeing the specialist next week, OR, next free appt is mid January, putting me out till February cycle 2016.

Very frustrating... But you get what you get and you don't be upset.

Have a happy and safe Christmas xx

@Billie2 ~ my heart sinks reading this, utterly devastated for you & your partner. Life can be such a *****! As nasty as that red witch of yours too!! Would you be able to start a cycle this month if you were to bight the bullet, pay the $120 and see the specialist next week? I think if you're mentally up to it then go for it, $120 is a drop in the ocean in comparison to the amazing outcome you could receive. But then on the other hand try and take the next month off to relax and have a couple of those champagnes we were talking about, like @tjuls said - curse Santa for not bringing you what you wanted and start 2016 with a bang! Whatever you decide will be the right decision Xxx

@MissTilly Ive booked for next wed. I figure Ive saved a month of champagnes already. Then I hope we dont need to follow the first time protocol of a nurse appt, its a waste of time, I know what to do. My next cycle after this forced break due to Xmas closure, starts 5th Jan and thats when I want to start again. Im on leave till 14th Jan, so would work well. Because of my short cycles, its likely that I can never back up and have to have a month break in between, as their appts are hard to get in to. Backing up for full stim would be rough I imagine. But Id do it. I just want this to be a short period in my life, not an ongoing saga. Ive asked the nurse for an aggressive protocol for stim next cycle. Elonva did not work for me. Ive had a better response on clomid. I want back ups. Its no longer a guessing game, they need to personalise my treatment.

I pray @Danymatthew that you are first time lucky. Especially with your friend just pregnant, it would be special to go through it together.
@Kookii @MissTilly @tjuls Im hopefully with you in Jan.
@hopefulangel1987 I think 2 weeks after IUI sounds like a trigger has gone days ago. I reckon you are not needing IVF xx

@Billie2 I cannot tell you how sorry I am for you!! I was really hoping my cycle buddy was going to have a happy and successful 1st time!! I'm so sad for you! But don't give up! Maybe you really need to have a more suitable protocol to get more eggs and just stay faithful it'll work next time! As I keep telling myself, the times the 1st try doesn't work are more that the ones that work! Don't be hard on your body and listen to it. If you think it's ready for another cycle, go for it immediately! $120 doesn't make a big difference at the end.
Just to give you an unuseful update, I feel better and my BT came back normal. Bloating has almost gone away, but period like pains not! they're still here and sometimes quite intense. Boobs are more sore that the possible soreness! It's like AF is coming in 5 minutes all day long. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's damn hard!! I keep imagining that moment, when I take the test and there's just one line....
Billie2 take care hun and keep fighting!!
