Default Any experiences with Primary Ivf?

well, after the 3rd acu session I got my period! And always had ever since, athough not super regular. I'm going to a community acupuncture, it's just $25/session and I found a lovely lady who got really attached to our case. She gave me lots of details about nutrition and self-practices to prepare my body at best and she will be treating me during IVF. Also my partner has been treated (we're male factor now), he improved but it was not enough for him.
I'm strongly convinced that having complimentary treatments during IVF will increase our chances!!
We did acupuncture after reading "The Infertility Cure". DH didn't benefit at all, other than relaxing him. His sperm count were exactly he same after 3 months of weekly sessions. I'd love to start again the next cycle, but I used to pay $95 out of pocket. $25 per session is amazingly cheap! Where's this place? We went to Acupuncture IVF Support in 383 George St.
    Thank you! Xx

@Kookii Im not actually bloated, more swollen or puffy from injections. I dont bruise easily & so far the only bruise I have is from Elonva. I feel absolutely fine. I just cant suck my belly in if you know what I mean. Just feel like Ive had a kick in the belly and tender. And yep, Im a runner and took our pup for a run this afternoon. I am not one to sit still, I have an active 8yr old and still holding up my fulltime career, so I dont get much time to be still I guess. I am on Orgalutran 250 and just did my first Puregon 💉150. See what happens tomorrow. Thank you for asking!

ok ladies, back from my 1st scan. Everything is going good. Nurse said line looks good, 7 f in right ov and 6 in left ov. I don't know anything about no. and I want to trust they're enough! @Kookii the acpuncture is called community acupuncture and they are at 3 different locations depending on the day of the week. I go to the Surry Hills one. @Billie2 I'm pretty sure that the lady who let me into the toilet before her was you! I was so in a hurry for the delay of 45 min of my appointment that I thought about your tattoo when I was into the room!! If that was you..now we know who we are! how is it going??

My dose was similar. Gona F 150, Orgalutran 250. What's Puregon? Is that the trigger?

@tjuls were you sitting in seats facing away from the reception desk? I sat on the phone after my BT waiting outside the bloods room. I had a look for you.

Sorry will update you on my result later when I hear back from nurse. The sonographer told me nothing. Im a little freaked out. I was bad and read the sheet she left as I dressed and the was a comment about endo polyp. I think I have 9 mature in total 16-17mm.

So I need to calm myself by buying lush soap, and grab lunch and wait for the arvo instructions..

    😝

Its FSH, same as your Gonal F. Puregon is a pen injection and was easier than Orgalutran.

@Billie2 Shame on me for not saying hello!!..well..that's quite a big loo too!! poor lady!
good way to keep yourself distracted! 9 mature..sounds good to me!!

I saw you were talking about exercising. Both nurses told me to avoid exercising, therefore I had to freeze my 3 times a week bootcamp, plus all the occasional activities like sqash, running... Actually the 1st one told me absolutely no sport, the second to listen to my body, but still light activities like walking. that's what I'm doing. Were you told something different?

@Billie2.. no we were sitting facing towards the reception. I kept my eyes out for u and Danymatthew but didnt see any blonde ladies around.. but now that u mentioned it.. were u over on the pathology side? 9 matured follies is excellent Billie2!!! I wouldnt be too worried about the polyp.. fingers xd it wont interfere with the plan.
@Danymatthew- its looking good so far hun.. 13 follies is a good number! !

our 2nd GP apptment lasted 10mins again and much to my utter dissapointment GP said to go out and make an apptment with FS.. 😠😭.. for another day!!!! What?!!! I wanted to cry!!!

Luckily the kind lady at the reception desk was able to book us in with a FS for this afternoon at 2pm... My gosh.. what an angel she was.. if it werent for my height and the tall bench i would have flung over and kissed her right there!!
So now im sitting at reception waiting again.. feeling nervous all over again.

However, I am overjoyed to hear u two ladies got to meet each other!!

@tjuls wow you are lucky! Thats brilliant. Yep I sat outside pathology waiting for my arm to stop bleeding. She double taped me & I couldnt go back to work with it being so obvious!

Yep, @Danymatthew and I both walked in on a lady in the loo and then hung outside toilet awkwardly waiting for her. I was the next scan after @Danymatthew. Both as short as each other. Haha!

Goodluck with the specialist. Alot of forms to sign. But its pretty quick.
