    @StephyG - Have you had your first GP appointment already where you are? I am quite sure someone would have "ordered" and gave you forms for all the tests you have had to do. Was the receptionist aware of the tests you are doing / have done and that you will come with those results? Because once you have all the results, it's just one more GP appt (show her all the results, she gives referral to FS) and then next. That, I know, can be combined into one day.

    Just wondering whether they misunderstood what you needed in that GP visit.

    If you call again, you might get a nicer / different receptionist?

    @VickyP I explained to her that we are coming from QLD, it is our very first gp appointment with primary but have had an appointment at a different clinic in QLD. We have already had a few blood tests but are awaiting some more and she just said to fax them to the clinic once we have the results. I will try call later lol I'm abit chicken

    Welcome to the Sydney Primary @StephyG! Thats crazy the fare to come down for just half an hr!!
    I hope the nicer receptionist will be able to make concessions for you.

    So now BT is tomorrow morning. I have to keep up the Crinone though, so this will be interesting!

    Default Any experiences with Primary Ivf?

    @tjuls Its only 1 or 2 more crinone.. You doing 1 2morro? It shall be gross. But what isnt in IVF. Im still shocked to be honest. I really wasn't expecting that news this morning from you. I am just sad for my little mate. You have been amazing to me & others on here. We cant blame anyone or anything (although the stitch better stay out of my way if she knows whats good for her). You are a strong little lady. 💪🏼
    @unicorn2016 Sorry I don't fall in that category. I have a son conceived naturally 9yrs ago & 2 miscarriages either side of him. We have unexplained secondary infertility. My DH has a few swimmer issues, but not bad enough to explain no conception all in the past 6yrs. Age seems to be our issue now. (37&38yrs)

    I still cant believe Im stimming till Saturday I expect. Im a broken record. Been 8 days today and still have 3 to go I expect. I am running out of surface area.

    Yup @Billie2. One tonight and then one again tomorrow morming before BT. I didn't actually do one this morning because I thought it was useless if I had my period.
    No surface area left is a good sign those follies are growing stronger and stronger. I'm so happy for u Billie2 that this cycle is working out alot better than ur last. @unicorn2016- I can't help u either im afraid. I'm in the same boat as Billie2. Conceived son naturally after 2 rolls in the hay and now thrown into the secondary infertility basket. No MFI.

    When are u expecting ur FET @VickyP?
    Leave my friends alone AF!! Esp @RainbowLorikeet!!
    Good luck with surgery on Fri hun. Hope it goes ahead as planned!

    Hi, sorry for being MIA. Got smashed at work today - feels like my brain's been fried.

    @StephyG - I am not sure whether it's possible but I am assuming that you current GP can actually do a referral directly to the FS at Primary. As far as I can tell, it's more convenience than need that you can see a GP at Peimary (under one roof service). So maybe ask about that? If you current refers you, maybe all you need is a visit to the Primary FS. hope you get better luck. 😝

    @tjuls - welcome to our club! It's never too crowded for you! 😘

    @Billie2 - I felt the exact same way. Running out of surface area! Hang in there, the last couple of days is a little crap leading up to EPU but before you know it, it'll be Monday.

    Well, afm, a bit of good news. The nurse called just before lunch - 11 of my embryos made the 5 days and got frozen! Woohoo! No more stimming!!! Now this might make the ohss worth it after all! She said to call them on day 1 of blood flow when AF arrives and they will arrange from there.

    In the meantime, a couple of acu sessions and taking it easy.

    I totally forgot to ask the nurse today. What do you ladies do with the sharps disposal container? Bring it back and have them empty it? I am also wondering what I should do with my left over meds. There's so much and such a waste!

    @unicorn2016,

    Not sure whether I can contribute to your question about unexplained infertility.

    As far as it goes for me, nothing significant showed up. Sperm analysis for DH showed slightly low motility but nothing of great concern. My tests showed that I have pcos (many small follicles) but my cycle comes super on time every month so there is no indication I am not ovulating like in pcos case. I had a number of fibroids removed a few years back, so no problems now there. BT and scans didn't show anything also significant. Missed miscarriage at 6 weeks (conceived naturally) 1 year plus ago. No luck since. Only issue is also age - both of us are 36 going on 37, hence the straight off IVF treatment ordered by FS.

    Sorry for the long explanation - GP at Primary said we were "as boring in a good way as we can be" because nothing significant showed up. I figure it's a combination of many small problems into a big one?!?! 😝

    Hello everyone...Im back - forgot my password lol

    I have missed out on so much, trying to catch up on all the pages!! So amazing to see all the different stages everyone is going through
    @tjuls Im doing ok we might be trying for IUI again at the end of this month (depending on timing). I'm just a little scared that it will happen again . I am so sorry about the wicked witch coming!! fingers crossed it works next cycle for you
    @Billie2 hugs back
    @unicorn2016 to answer your question, hubby and me have been tested for everything and all the results came back fine - Specialist said its unexplained and its common .... Frustrating uh?!

    This is the most draining experience I have ever been through, just disappointing month after month (sorry to be a downer, not feeling the best today).

    Goodluck to all xxx
