    Default your partner and appointments

    Hi there ladies.

I'm curious to know whether your partner attended any or all of your pregnancy related appointments with you?

A friend of mines fiance attended all of her appointments.

But I'm wondering if your partners attended to very first appointments. The confirmation of pregnancy and your very first (7 or 8 week) appointment - with bloods, full history and dating scan?

    Default your partner and appointments

My partner attended all 3 scans and first appointment at the hospital with my midwife (at about 16weeks). All other appointments I went to by myself.

My partner came to all appointments except maybe 3? 2 because he was working and one because I was only going to get something for morning sickness.
    He came to every ultrasound.

My DH did, except for the early ones. I had bleeding very early on and had to go for a heap of tests and scans. DH is a farmer and works for his parents. They were busy at the time so we had no way of getting him to town without them finding out. They were also the ones where I probably needed him the most but he was there from the 11 wk scan onwards which was lovely. I hope we can swing it that way again, maybe every second app as we had a lot. His dad thought it was crap and always complained. He's an *** though lol

My DH came to the first appointment and major scans but the rest I attended by myself as he works fulltime.

He came to 2 scans, missed the 13 week NT scan due to work. I went alone or with mum to all ante natal appointments except the last. He came to the last because I was to find out that day if I was being induced etc. I'm sure he would have liked to be there but his work is very busy and getting time out for every little appointment is unrealistic for him.

For DS, DH came to the 20 week scan and my very last midwife appointment prior to induction. This time round he has been to the 20 week scan and if everything continues as normal then he probably won't attend any other appointment until birth.

Dh came to every appointment with our first dd. With our second ds he came to the ultrasounds, hospital appointments and some drs appointments only if it landed on his days off.
