I personally don't think @VP is being irratuinal at all about sex offenders at a public pool, you'd all be ok with some creep discreetly taking photos on his/her phone of your naked baby? I sure as sh!t would not be ok with it..

Honestly, I probably wouldn't have even noticed or given it much thought. I might have thought that it would be gross is bubs did a poo, but i probably wouldn't have noticed.

Of course not, but statistics tell us that in 90% of cases, the perpetrator is known to and trusted by the victim. We should be more worried about the males we know in our lives sexually abusing our children than some random pervert at a pool.

There's no law saying you can't be careful with both

    - Im not the only one who believes there is a real risk of pedo's getting their jollies at a public pool, photo taking being banned and all...

Yes it is quite stressful... When I am PM I am going to have separate public pool sections for hippies and sex offenders (segregation, all the way!)

Ok, not trying to be narky but apart from some pervert taking a photo of young children at the pool to get off on (which is disturbing, I'm not saying it isn't) but how exactly is it directly harming your child?

Photo of your child on Internet site with details on the pool location?

That being said I strip DS down pool side.

Huh? It isn't. Well unless you draw he long bow of the more parents that take their kids nude swimming, the more pedo's are attracted to the pool in the first place.

Now a poonami would affect my child either through catching something (gastro) or the pool being closed down for hours.

OT but I had a man call me over by name at a public swimming pool when I was 8. I had my name on my swimming cap. He had has penis out.

That is why I'm never having my child's name on his bag/hat etc.

😱 that's awful, I'm sorry. I am glad however, that you mentioned it so that I know never to put DS name on bags etc. There are some creepy mofo's out there.
