So I gave in and tested today!! Got a neg result 😔 but.... I'm only 4-5 dpo so I will deff wait and do it again. Figured if I'm feeling all these symptoms I felt like I'd get a good result. But everything I read said to wait 14 dpo so I will!!! Today I feel the need to throw up 😳

@cuky , I think that is the best possible gift you could give yourself - honestly I stopped doing any tracking just over 1 yr ago - apart from the very random ovuscope salvia test
I think all the tracking the constant thinking can delay o and conception
once you go a month without it ( letting go of the I need to know) and pitting some of that energy back into trusting your body and loving it , I'm sure a bfp will follow
and getting back to enjoying your dh and snuggles with him ... Honestly when you get in that head space the whole thing changes
    hug hug hug hug
allow your feelings to be there but try not let them take over your whole being
this's ttc business really shows us who we are that's for sure ... What cheeky little babies we have waiting in the wings for us to be teaching us already before there already here!!!

@cuky How bizarre that vitex pushed o back so far. I have probably said this before, but have you considered trying acupuncture?

@emilywoods Im confused, i thought you said that your period was due between the 1st-7th of feb? Anyways i hope you get your bfp soon.

@Felicia I'm sooooo sorry to hear that.
Big big hugs! I can't believe how many times we've said this same line to each other in the past, it sucks bigtime, but please pleaseee be kind to yourself and treat yourself to some good wine!!

You are right about letting go of the need to know and control things. I'm going to have to just let go and be just like before we started the ttc journey, with only one difference that we will be not "preventing" ... everything else needs to be the same to minimize stress..

@curlybird, yes, Acupuncture is something that I've wanted to try out but I'm worried that I'm going to overthink about ttc (again) and get into that whole mode of fixing what I think is wrong, trying one thing after another..and getting desperate when nothing works out..
I would want to try it though just not atm.

@emilywoods, fingers crossed for next week! Hope it passes by quickly for you.

@McBecks, thank you for the lovely msg! I'm not sure if I'm going to ovulate or not or already have this cycle.. I've just blocked it out from my head, whatever happens happens.

I'm just going to follow one simple algorithm from now on ...

Are you having a period today?
If Yes: Relax and treat yourself to chocolate
If No: Have sex alternate days

Everything else can take a hike for all I care!!

@curlybird I started counting down about 10 weeks left of work haha Good luck with your GTT. The drink isnt too bad, its the 2 hour of sitting around that sucks! Bring a book or something to keep you occupied.
@Felicia i hope you and your family are staying safe with the cyclone. It looks like a big nasty one.
