Default how do you let someone you love go

how do you let someone you love go as you know they are not right for you and will only continue to hurt you , let you down and break your heart.

When will this pain in my heart and the confusion in my mind go?

    why is love so hard?

I wish I knew too. I just wish I didn't care... would make it so much easier.

Sending so many hugs. As ACM14 said, one of the hardest things is accepting it.

Take it a minute, heck even a second, at a time. Let yourself grieve.

Go gently lovely. We are always here for you xxoo

With time. Don't put your emotions into a time frame though. I promise you that it will get better. You will feel strong again, your heart will mend and you'll be able to stand back up on your feet and won't be knocked down.

hi louise41. look at it as a growing thing. huge trees start from small seeds. one day at a time. eventually the hurt does go away, not totally gone, but it becomes a part of you and you don't notice it so much. this time will make you stronger and wiser and more confident in your own ability to change and grow. sending you strength and love, marie.
