Default How long do you wait before you test...

We've been TTC for a couple of months now and I'm getting worried I'm hung up on symptom spotting this month! Last month I had some massively painful boobs but TTOM came & went.

This time I'm just over a week & 2 days out from aunt flow arriving & I've been super lethargic for the past 3 days mainly in arvo/evening & have been nauseous on and off (mind you the nausea could be with other medical issues!)

How long would you//do you have to wait before testing? And how long before it's truly reliable? Is that only after AF doesn't arrive?

Generally you will get a positive test 3-4 days after implanting.
    So 9-14 days after ovulation
Pregnancy symptoms generally won't start until bub has implanted (6-11 days after ov)
How did you determine ovulation day?
Generally sore boobs are from the progesterone rising after ovulation, then it continues if you are pregnant

    Days post ovulation

So how many days after you ovulate. Typical cycle has you ovulating 14 days before period starts - but this can be different for different women.

How do you know you're 8 dpo, if you don't know when ovulation is?

With my first pregnancy, I got a BFP the day before AF was due, which was 11 dpo

It's only been a few months, try not to worry. There is only a 25% chance each month that you'll fall pregnant, if you dtd at the right time. My DD took 7 months to conceive (9 cycles). She was conceived naturally, it just took time
