Have decided that we will head off to local fireworks which starts around 9pm for nye. Then on new years day have invited family over for lunch and so the kids can play with their cousins.

We live just across the road from same venue that have fireworks on NYE so my family are coming around to sit in the front yard and watch them. Will probably have a BBQ or something. I used to love going out NYE but I feel weird all night if I'm away from the kids that night so I just stay home with them now 😊

We plan to go to my parents house and stay the night.

I really don't care for NYE. I'm old and I would really just prefer to sleep

I am yet to make any plans, a little bit of me would love to go out with friends and let my hair down, the sensible side of me knows I would go out, end up wanting to go home to Dd, bail on everyone and leave.

So I will probably be staying in and pitying myself

I had invited a few friends over for a bbq but only ONE person could take 30seconds out of their busy lives to reply (which they are unable to make it) so dh and I have decided to go do something else...... and that's the last time I try to organise something. I am sick of people not letting me know by rsvp date it isnt a hard concept to follow. .... sorry for my vent its just a big thing for me to organise a get together with my anxiety and I was actually really excited about it

First NYE in two years that DH and I have spent together (he's normally working). So we are going with 4 other couples to Rockpool in the private dining room. Scored it at the last minute! I've never been, so CAN'T wait
