DH and I literally spent 15 hours putting together a wooden cubby and swing set. DD ran across the lawn and said "My swing! This is the best christmas ever!" She spent hours on it so very happy with that.

Love the idea of those punjamas OP!

We got DS a blow up water play area - it has a little slide, balls, blow up animals, etc. He loves it! Spent the whole afternoon in it yesterday having an absolute ball

BIL got him a Duplo Lego train; he loves that too.

I have 4 nephews and usually I struggle with getting them presents they love as opposed to presents their parents love (ie: pyjama's, books) but this year I nailed it....with lots of plastic toys that most people on BH hate! I certainly was "that" family member this year.

2 nephews got Flying UFO toys (hard to explain but a massive back yard hit for 2 x 7y/o's), 1 nephew got a sand and water table, 1 nephew got a set of 4 monster jam trucks. One of my nephews told me the flying UFO was better than any of his santa presents.

I picked out a toy cat for DD that purrs and walks when you 'pat' it. She didn't pay much attention to it yesterday, but DH put batteries in it today and she loves it. She has taken it to bed with her.

    Very happy.
