How is everyone going with getting to 10 000 steps a day? I've been hitting the mark but I'm definitely working for it. I can't get those numbers with incidental exercise that's for sure. Feeling freakin awesome since hitting 10 000 a day though!

CJ RaRa you are killing it! You realise it's only 8000 for this challenge right? Today I was shopping and my Fitbit buzzed as I reached my goal. So happy that I avoided late night laps...

You definitely have to do some intentional exercise to reach 10,000 unless you have a very active lifestyle. I'm feeling more motivated and DH is very encouraging. My Mum has benefited too (Cheryl) as she joined the challenge. Glad you are feeling better for it.

    Amazing!!!!!!!

Today totally sucked for me! I spent the morning cleaning the house as DS was with my mum and I didn't even reach 8000 for today. And I got lazy and didn't go for a walk as I didn't have DS. I'm pretty close to the goal and contemplating walking up and down the stairs to reach it.

Sorry to butt in, does anyone wear theirs to work? DP wants to buy me one but we have a 'bare below the elbows' policy so I don't think I could wear it to work which is obvs where a lot of activity would happen ..

    Default Fitbit users out there?

NurseAnni it wouldn't be as useful if you didn't wear it all day. I have a Fitbit Flex but they also sell Fitbits that can click onto your waist band or bra under your clothes. I used these for years and they were great. Measure steps, calories, floors climbed etc. That would suit you better than a wrist band.

Edit: it's a Fitbit One that I'm talking about.

Is anyone having issues with matchup syncing the correct number? For example on my fitbit one and on the app for today it says 11,801 but on matchup it says 9,796.
Doesn't really matter I guess because it's not a cutthroat competition (is it?) but more to motivate us!

It was perfect until today. I just walked to get over 8000 but it has me a little short. Not sure why...
