    Default Fitbit users out there?

I've downloaded the fitbit app and I'm going to buy one tomorrow yay! (Hopefully anyway!) the flex is currently $85 at harvey norman. Hubby is pretty keen to get a charge (because of the watch feature mostly) so that'll help the both of us even though he is pretty slim his diet is atrocious compared to mine even though I'm overweight. He lives on a diet of energy drinks and maccas so I'm hoping this will motivate him to eat better!
I'm hoping to join the challenge tomorrow too!

I'm also on my fitness pal with the same username

I'd love to join in. DH has a jawbone Up but it gave him a bad rash (he gets this with watches etc as well).

We are away at the moment, but when I get home (late next week) I will try to register it to me and work out how to use it.

I'd love to get back to my pre IVF weight. So have about 10kgs to lose, but would be happy with 5 to start with.

Yay Qrazelna. I saw how cheap the Flex was at HN. So glad you've made a decision. I like the watch one too. But the flex tells me what I need to know for now. Might wait a few months for the watch so any problems are ironed out. Even if you are slim there are so many benefits to being more active your DH will certainly benefit.

Lost in the 50s how cool is it that you have a free Up to use? I hope it will motivate you to move more. It has for me. Can't wait for you to join. Let me know if you have any issues.

DJ Nette sounds like you will be just in time for the 12 Jan challenge. Enjoy your holidays and we look forward to seeing you around soon!!

Lastly I'm sorry that I've only just see these. I didn't get the notifications and just saw the email digest!

Sorry to hear that Acerbaby. I can understand your frustration. A Google search revealed that the Vivofit takes the time zone from the device it syncs with but may be a little buggy. Such a shame...

    Edit: From the manual:

The current time of day and date based on your current location. The device updates the time each time you synchronize your device to a computer or mobile device. If you change time zones, you must synchronize your device to receive the correct time.

So the only thing you can check is the time zone set on the computer or phone it syncs to.
