For some reason I thought it started tomorrow. Will have to actually try and do something today. It takes me 10 mins of walking to get 1000 steps (on average). Does that seem right to everyone else? Based on that I have 50 mins of walking to do

It's 9000 a day I set the bar pretty high (well for myself anyway) on work days I average around 7000 and non work days 2000 (today being a non work day)
I find I need to do almost 2 hours of walking (with a pram) to get to 10,000 steps. I think it would depend on leg length, stride speed etc

    That's great!
I found last time we did a challenge (was it January guys?) it motivated me to make better choices. I think that's more important than actually meeting the step count is that you are making better choices

It definitely makes a difference. I wasn't expecting to hit 7k but surprised myself with 10k yesterday!

Doubt I'll hit it again today tho.

I'm going to start trying to get 10,000 steps a day with my fitbit. I've also just seen that I can get bonus flybuys points by linking my Medibank, flybuys and fitbit - so I'll be earning rewards every time I achieve it. Wahoo!!

    Default Fitbit users out there?

If you google fitbit flybuys it will come up. You need to link your Medicare first though.
