Honestly, I don't know how I seem to make so many steps. Although today I did get 21mins just by pushing the pram at the park to get dd2 to sleep while I spoke to my friends! I literally did circles!

@hwaterhouse - the charge hr is great. The only thing I don't like about it is the screen doesn't stay on and you have to press a button to look at steps/ time/ HR etc. the only reason I don't like that though is because I do a lot of interval training and it can be a pain in the butt mid run pressing the button otherwise it was worth every cent. It's made a huge difference to the calories expended as its way more accurate.

Yes I get how that might be annoying. Must be a battery saving option. I like the idea of measuring my heart rate and incline which the flex doesn't do. I also was hoping to use it as a bit of a watch with the time option but I don't know if pressing the button makes it a convenient substitute for my watch. Anyway, think I'll save up for one through this year. Let me know if you change your opinion! I only bought my Flex just before the new models were announced so feel as though I should get some more use out of it.

Bec - bummer about the weather. So far so good in Sydney. Enjoy the couch!

Can you please elaborate on the calories expended comment? I only have the flex but was trying to decide on an upgrade for the watch factor.. So I'm interested in what you mean @Ra Ra Superstar ?

I presume they are referring to how it tracks your heart rate. By tracking heart rate you get a more accurate figure for how many calories you are burning rather than a generalised number as each person burns differently
