Default Royal Prince Alfred or Prince of Wales for birth? (Sydney)

On Monday i have to tell my Obgyn which hospital i would like to give birth. I have no experience with hospitals and this is my first baby, so im not sure what i should be looking for?

Has anyone birthed at either of these hospitals and what was your experience? Good/bad? Stressful? We will be private if that makes any difference.

This decision is really weighing on my mind! I dont want to have a bad experience, im nervous enough!

    TIA

I've had both my girls at RPA (public, through the birth centre) and have had overall wonderful experiences. I've had a few hospital stays while pregnant and postpartum and have been so impressed with the level of care from everyone!

I too had mine at RPA through GP shared care.
1st pregnancy had some issues and I needed to have scans fortnightly then weekly from 24 weeks. A lot of people complain about the wait for scans but I can't fault them.
I honestly don't think you can go wrong choosing either hospital. Congrats
