Thanks. He bought me something nice (necklace) but haven't seen each other all day, and now has to "work for the night".

    Dear Neighbours
    SHUP UP! JUST SHUT UP.
Its either your huge dogs barking in your tiny backyard, you yelling at your children, or your children crying. I cant blame your children, I would cry to if was bellowed at like that.
    Just please be quiet!!

    Wish we had eloped.
There is nothing special about our wedding to anyone else. So we should have just booked where we wanted, done what we wanted, worn what we wanted, eat and drink what we wanted, spent what we wanted, invited who we wanted and saved the money for an epic effing holiday we would enjoy. Instead of worrying about making other people happy who by all accounts don't give a cr@p about me at all.
It's 6 months away and I'm ready to throw in the towel and whisk my boys away somewhere just the 3 of us.

Sometimes i want to be a dad as opposed to a mum, cause dads get to have a break, go out & have fun etc. I havent been away from ds for more than a couple of hours since he was born 8 months ago & that time has been for psych appointments, not fun.

    This evenings conversation:

DH: What are we doing next weekend
Me: As little as possible, we are all still sick and exhausted. Plus we need to get ready for our Easter holiday and not spend money.
DH: I think I'll hire a jackhammer and clean up that concrete that has been sitting down the back for nearly a year.
Me: That sounds like something, that doesn't sound related to our holiday, that sounds like it will cost money
DH: Don't get all grumpy - it was just an idea

Seriously - does anyone pay attention to me?

I think there would be many mums who wish to be a dad at least once or twice while their babies are small. I can remember thinking this myself quite a few times. hugs, marie.
